Check Imaging

Check Imaging is a new process in which pictures, or images, of your checks are taken during processing. Your monthly image statement will contain pictures of your checks instead of the actual items. Statements are three hole punched to enable them to fit neatly into a binder. Images are listed in numerical order, which streamlines balancing and eliminates the need to sort cancelled checks and deposit slips. This system also provides faster responses to customer requests. Employees can answer your statement and image questions in a fraction of the time compared to conventional microfilm searches. Check imaging not only reduces your home-owned bank’s operational costs, but also reduces financial risks, expedites posting and assists in fraud detection.

Overdraft Privilege™

Overdraft Privilege™ is a discretionary overdraft service designed to help you avoid the embarrassment associated with the occasional or inadvertent overdraft. You also avoid the fees charged by merchants when your check is returned. We cannot promise to pay every overdraft, but if you maintain your eligible account in good standing, we will consider, without obligation, payment of your reasonable overdrafts, rather than automatically returning unpaid any non-sufficient funds items that you may have. Normal non-sufficient funds or overdraft charges, as set forth in our fee schedule, will be assessed for each item that would create an overdraft on your account.
