First National Bank and Trust in Junction City recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of each customer who has chosen to do business with us. We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your personal and financial affairs and First National Bank and Trust respects the privacy of users of our Online Banking Service, just as we do throughout the rest of our business. We are committed to protecting and safeguarding any information that may be entrusted to us. First National Bank and Trust restricts employee access to confidential information to a "need to know" basis. All bank employees receive training on the importance of customer privacy and safeguarding customer information.

Through our Online Banking Service, we want to provide online banking services and information to you regarding our products and services in a manner that will be beneficial to you whether you are an existing valued customer or a potential new customer shopping for new bank services.

Our website does not require you to disclose any personally-identifying information. If you visit our site to read about our products and services we collect only non-identifying information about you: Date and time the site was accessed; the name of the domain from which you accessed the Internet; what page(s) were visited; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked our site. This information helps us make our site more useful to visitors. The information will be used for the purposes of meeting your banking needs and requests, and providing services to you in the future. Our Internet Banking Service and online banking enrollment form does require you to disclose certain personally identifying information for example; Name, Social Security Number, and Account Number. This information is required to give us permission to set up Internet Banking for you as an on-line banking customer and to enable you to use the features provided in our Internet Banking Service.

If you identify yourself by sending an e-mail or filling out forms such as contact forms and guest registers, on our website you may be asked for personally-identifying information in order to process your e-mail, or form. If you decide to send us personally-identifying information in an e-mail message (including your name, e-mail address, and any other information on the e-mail header) and you are not an Internet Banking customer of First National Bank and Trust Co., this information may be retained by us for processing and to facilitate decisions. Our Internet Banking customers are encouraged to use the "Secured Bank Mail" feature of the Internet Banking Service when contacting the Bank. All information you might provide to us is treated no differently than any information you might provide in a written format such as a brochure application, a check reorder slip, or a letter. We will use personal information to identify you, to communicate with you, and to help us answer your questions. However, if you do not want your personal information collected, you may refrain from supplying the information, however ALL users of the Bank's Internet Banking Service will be required to supply this information in order to enroll. First National Bank and Trust does not use "cookies" to collect and track information about you. The Bank has developed a "Notice of Privacy Policy" to show you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information.
